Members from Utah's county farm bureaus met earlier this month to select leaders for the state's largest farming and ranching organization. Delegates re-elected Tooele County hay farmer and rancher Leland Hogan to his fifth two-year term as president of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation. Hogan will continue to serve on the American Farm Bureau's board of directors, as well as the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture.

Also re-elected to two-year terms on the Utah Farm Bureau's board of directors were Rulon Fowers, a hay grower from Hooper in Weber County; Rex Larsen, a cattle rancher and grain farmer from Spanish Fork; and Edwin Sunderland, a dairy farmer and turkey producer from Chester, Sanpete County.

Dustin Cox, a cattle rancher and hay broker from Alton, Kane County, was selected as the new chairman of the Young Farmer and Rancher Committee. Marc and Hollie Henrie, Kyle and Shelly Matthews, Meagher and Tiffany McConkie, and John and Dusty Reese were selected to be on the statewide Young Farmer and Rancher committee.

Janae Titmus was elected to the state Women's Committee.

The Utah Farm Bureau is the largest general farm and ranch organization in the state with more than 27,000 member families.
