North Logan woman suffers critical injury in accident

Hannah Chesley, 18, suffered a serious head injury following a car crash in North Logan on Tuesday.

Witnesses said Chesley was driving south on Main St. when she ran a red light and smashed her car into a pick-up truck, driven by Craig Cressall, 59. He was turning left onto 2500 North from Main St. Cressall appeared to have on injuries, according to Sgt. John Italasano.

Chesley was first taken to Logan Regional Hospital, but then was moved to McKay-Dee Hospital in critical condition.

A passenger in Chesley's car, Jessica Rawlins, 18, also was taken to Logan Regional Hospital for observation.

No citations were issued in the accident.
