Mormon mother helps hungry schoolchildren in Arizona

When Ruth Collins, a member of the LDS Church in Mesa, Ariz., learned about children who were hungry in her hometown, she decided to do something about it.

"I was talking to a teacher who told me he had students who were coming to school Monday mornings ravenous (because) their last meal was the school lunch on Friday," Collins said in an interview in the Arizona Republic.
