Boost Mobile is sponsoring a food and goods drive to benefit Road Home, a local program that provides support and shelter for overcoming homelessness. On Dec. 1, Boost Mobile will present a $2,000 check to Road Home Executive Director Matthew Minkevitch to kick off the monthlong food and goods drive.
The donation will help provide shelter for nearly 170 people without homes in Salt Lake City.
In addition, Boost Mobile will be offering 13 drop-off locations at its retail stores, where the community can help contribute canned foods and goods for the annual Road Home holiday drive. Items most needed are blankets, socks and coats.
The community can begin donating on Dec. 1 and continue through Dec. 23.
