PROVO — Police are looking for two men who robbed a Provo convenience store Monday night after threatening the cashier with a gun.

The robbery took place around 10 p.m. at the Walkers convenience store at 980 W. Center after two men entered the store, said Provo Police Capt. Cliff Argyle. He said one man acted as a look-out while the other man flashed a gun at the cashier and demanded that she give him the money in the cash register.

Argyle said there were no injuries and no other customers in the store. The cashier gave the men money that was in the register, and they fled from the scene. The cashier said both men had Spanish accents, but neither man's face was visible, as one man was wearing a bandana and the other was wearing a ski mask.

The man with the gun was described as being in his late teens or early 20s, around 5-foot-7, 160-175 pounds, wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a blue sweatshirt over a white T-shirt, white shoes and blue jeans.

The man who stood watch at the door was in his late teens, 5-foot-2 inches tall and around 130-145 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a blue, flat-brimmed baseball hat with a black bandana over his face and a gray sweatshirt.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident call Provo police at 801-852-6210 or 801-852-7280.
