Training seminar set on trading in Mexico

The Governor's Office of Economic Development and its International Trade Office will host an export training seminar about Mexico from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main.

"Doing Business in Mexico During the Economic Downturn" is designed to educate Utah companies about trade developments in Mexico and the current Mexican economic situation and provide Utah businesses the export tools needed to expand into the Mexican market.

One-on-one meetings with seminar speakers or Utah's trade representative in Mexico will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. that day. Registration for the seminar can be completed by contacting Diana Franca at dfranca@utah.gov or by calling her at 801-538-8714. The cost is $20.
