MOAB — A Lehi woman suffered injuries to her face and eye Friday in an all-terrain vehicle accident.
Jessica Lees, 24, was riding the Hell's Revenge trail about 3:30 p.m. when she attempted to go up a steep section known as "The Wall," according to the Grand County Sheriff's Office.
Lees' ATV rolled over backward and the vehicle's handlebar hit her in the face, the sheriff's office said. The impact cracked Lees' half-helmet and her sunglasses shattered.
A piece of the sunglasses' lens was embedded in Lees' eye, the sheriff's office said. She also may have sustained back and arm injuries. Lees was taken by ambulance to Allen Memorial Hospital.
