BOISE — Boise State running back Doug Martin, whose four touchdowns helped the Broncos remain undefeated, has been named the top offensive player in the Western Athletic Conference.
Martin, a sophomore from Stockton, Calif., rushed for a career-high 121 yards on 13 carries in Friday's 52-21 victory over Utah State. Martin also caught one pass for six yards in the blowout.
The No. 6 Broncos are 11-0 on the season with two home games left on the schedule, a Friday matchup with Nevada with the league title at stake and the season finale Dec. 5 against New Mexico State.
