There seems to be a segment of every society which thinks of themselves as being "a cut above." Such was the impression I got of Kirk Jowers, director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics, when I read the current level of interest in Sarah Palin "mystifies" him. He goes on to call her supporters "fringe" elements in society.
That seems to be the mind-set of someone who's detached from society, not a student of current events. It's the so-called "fringe" in America who are going to save this republic, if it's going to be saved at all. Come down off your high horse and do some real evaluating, Mr. Jowers. Sarah Palin may not be the one, but she's heading in a more acceptable direction than our "mainstream" president.
