WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: The Wildcats ended its season on a high note and sent out its five seniors with a win as the Wildcats defeated Montana State 3-1 Saturday night in the Swenson Gym in the final match of the 2009 season. WSU picked up 26-24, 19-25, 29-27, 25-19 victory on Senior Night.

The match was the final match for WSU's five seniors: Caitlyn Anderson, Chelsea Bair, Amy Fackrell, Jenna Leggat, and Jocilyn Taylor.

Bair led the 'Cats in her final career match, finishing with 22 kills on the night and posted 12 digs for her 11th double-double of the season and the 52nd of her career. It marked the fourth time this season she has posted 20 or more kills. Bair has posted double-digits in kills in WSU's last 17 matches. Bair finishes her remarkable career at Weber State second in career kills and digs and ranks in the WSU career top ten in seven categories. She ranks fifth in Big Sky history in career kills.

Caitlyn Anderson also posted a double-double, adding 14 kills and 21 digs for the night for her fourth double-double of the season. Anderson finishes her four-year career as WSU's all-time leader in career digs and also ranks ninth in Big Sky history in career digs.

Fackrell had nine kills and Leggat added seven kills and 11 digs, while Taylor posted 43 assists, six digs, and four kills in their final career matches.

Weber State hit .256 for the match and held MSU to .226 hitting. The Wildcats had 14 more kills and ten more digs than the Bobcats.

With the win the 'Cats end the 2009 season with a 8-21 overall record.

They finished 5-11 in Big Sky play, tied for seventh in the league standings.
