Center Mehmet Okur will not play when the Jazz face Detroit tonight.
Okur has missed the Jazz's last two games, Wednesday's win over Toronto and Thursday's win over San Antonio, due to flu-like symptoms.
He was said to have been feeling a bit better on Thursday, but left EnergySolutions Arena before the Jazz began their morning shootaround today because he was still feeling ill.
Okur was a member of Detroit's 2004 NBA championship team.
Backup Kyrylo Fesenko will make a third straight start in Okur's place, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said after this morning's shootaround.
