Church to talk turkey day in tough times
"When the Turkey is Good but Times are Tough" is the subject of the Sunday, Nov. 22 sermon at the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake, 569 S. 1300 East.

Rabbi set to teach course on life, death
The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute has a fall course, SoulQuest: The Journey Through Life, Death and Beyond.
Rabbi Benny Zippel of Chabad Lubavitch of Utah is teaching this course at the Chabad Community Center, 1760 S. 1100 East, for six Mondays, through Dec. 14.
Alta chapel will reopen for ski season
Beginning Sunday, Nov. 29, Mass will be celebrated every Sunday evening at 5 p.m. through the ski season at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Chapel in Alta, located directly across from Alta Lodge.
The Eucharist has been celebrated at the ski resort during the ski season for more than 40 years.
