Rep. Ron Bigelow, R-West Valley, lines up a shot against the Grizzlies mascot Friday during a celebration of the completion of the 3500 South corridor in West Valley City. The $32 million project began last November and widened 3500 South to three general-purpose travel lanes in each direction. The project also added two dedicated lanes in the center median for the Utah Transit Authority's bus rapid-transit system.
