UTAH STATE 3, NEVADA 1: At Logan, sophomore outside hitter Liz McArthur had 21 kills and eight digs to lead Utah State to a four-set win (24-26, 26-24, 25-16, 25-19). USU ends its season with a 15-14 record, including a 6-10 mark in the Western Athletic Conference, with the win. Nevada falls to 11-19 and 7-9 in the WAC.
Junior setter Chelsea Fowles had five kills, seven digs and three service aces for Utah State, while junior middle blocker Shanell Durrant added eight kills. Junior middle blocker Katie Astle also played well for USU as she had nine kills and seven block assists, while sophomore opposite side hitter Emily Kortsen also had nine kills to go along with five block assists.
