FARMINGTON — The Davis County Health Department still has more H1N1 vaccine available.

Health officials had hoped to distribute 14,000 tickets for the FluMist spray and injectable vaccines Thursday, but only about 6,000 were handed out, said department spokesman Bob Ballew. The same two distribution locations will be re-opened Friday between 2 and 6 p.m. to give out the remaining 8,000 tickets.

Those locations are: Bountiful Regional Center, 835 N. 400 East in North Salt Lake; and the Legacy Events Center, 151 S. 1100 West in Farmington.

Each person must have a ticket to get a vaccination. Adults may pick up tickets for their immediate household members only. Each ticket will specify a date and time when the vaccines will be administered during clinics on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

The vaccinations are free but a ticket is required. Those in the higher-risk groups are currently eligible. For more information, call 801-451-3333 or visit www.daviscountyutah.gov/health/flu.
