Utah Jazz: Korver hoping to return to team in two weeks — or less
Back from a week-plus-long physical rehab stint in California, Jazz reserve shooting guard Kyle Korver said this morning that he hopes to return to the team in about two weeks — at the most.
But Korver, who underwent arthroscopic surgery Oct. 28 to remove a bone spur from his left knee, couldn't pinpoint precisely when he'll be back.
The 4-6 Jazz have seven games in the next two weeks, including tonight's at home vs. Toronto.
"It's hard to really say," Korver said after the team's morning shootaround. "Just as I keep doing more stuff, see how it responds. But I definitely made a lot of progress in the last week."
Swingman C.J. Miles hopes to return from thumb surgery sometime in the next few weeks as well.
Jazz combo guard Ronnie Price, meanwhile, will miss a fourth straight game tonight due to a sprained left big toe. As of late this morning, he still was still awaiting results of a second MRI performed Tuesday on the toe.
