PAYSON — A man was stabbed to death during a home-invasion burglary in Payson Canyon Monday night, according to an all-points bulletin the Utah County Sheriff's department sent out.

Utah Valley dispatch received a call at 7 p.m. about a possible homicide at a residence near 11600 South Canyon Road and found a deceased adult male, said Utah County Sheriff's Lt. Darren Gilbert.

Deputies and police are looking for two heavily armed suspects, both described as white males, 5'8" and weighing 115 pounds, with short hair. Dispatchers said officers think the suspects broke into the home, slit one person's throat and tied two people up.

The investigation is ongoing. Deputies believe the suspects are driving a blue compact vehicle, possibly a Ford Escort. Police said the owner of what was identified as the possible suspect vehicle is currently in the Beaver County Jail.
