The 2009 Utah Multi-Cultural Business Expo, originally scheduled for this week at the Salt Palace Convention Center, has been postponed until spring.
The board of directors of United 4 Economic Development announced the postponement Monday. The expo was scheduled to run Tuesday and Wednesday. It has been rescheduled for April 20-21.
"The decision to postpone the event is due primarily to the current economic climate," the board said in a news release.
The board said it will continue to advance its statewide initiative "to bring a business development paradigm shift through its 'Hand Up Campaign,' " it said.
