MILWAUKEE — Brandon Jennings scored 55 points, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's franchise rookie record, to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a come-from-behind 129-125 victory Saturday over the Golden State Warriors.

Jennings poured in 29 points in the third quarter, then scored 10 in the final 2:15 to hold off the Warriors and become only the third Bucks player to score more than 50. The last player to do it was Michael Redd, who set the franchise record with 57 points against Utah on Nov. 11, 2006.

Jennings scored 15 straight points during the third period to help the Bucks overcome a nine-point deficit and win four straight for the first time in more than two years. The Bucks (5-2) are off to their best start since 2005, the last season the team made the playoffs.

Abdul-Jabbar, then known as Lew Alcindor, had 51 points on Feb. 21, 1970, against Seattle. The NBA rookie record was set by Wilt Chamberlain with 58 points for Philadelphia against Detroit in a January 1960 game in Bethlehem, Pa.

Monta Ellis led the Warriors with 26 points.

HEAT 81, NETS 80: At Miami, Dwyane Wade's 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds left lifted Miami past undermanned and winless New Jersey. Wade's shot was the 17th tie or lead change in the fourth quarter and came after the Nets' Brook Lopez tipped in Rafer Alston's missed runner with 4.1 seconds to go. Before the basket by Lopez, the Heat had tied the game on a banked-in 3-pointer by Quentin Richardson with 25 seconds to go.

PACERS 113, CELTICS 104: At Indianapolis, Danny Granger scored 29 points, Dahntay Jones added a season-high 25 and Indiana handed Boston its second straight loss. Granger delivered on his promise Wednesday that the Pacers would win four straight.

THUNDER 101, SPURS 98: At San Antonio, Kevin Durant scored 25 points and Oklahoma City spoiled the return of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker to San Antonio's lineup. The Thunder handed the Spurs their first home loss in five games this season despite Duncan and Parker returning after missing two games because of ankle injuries. Duncan had 22 points and 10 rebounds but attempted just one shot in the fourth. Parker scored 17 points and missed a 3-point try at the buzzer.

HAWKS 121, HORNETS 98: At Atlanta, Joe Johnson scored 26 points, Jamal Crawford added 21 and Atlanta beat New Orleans for its fourth straight victory. The Hornets were without Chris Paul, who stayed home after spraining his ankle the night before, and have lost three straight and five of six. Peja Stojakovic scored 25 points, but New Orleans fell to 0-2 under Jeff Bower, the general manager who became the coach this week after Byron Scott's firing.
