Montana tops Northern Colorado 38-10, wins Big Sky

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Chase Reynolds ran for 151 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to lead Montana to a 38-10 victory over Northern Colorado.

With the win, Montana (10-0, 7-0 Big Sky) clinched its 12th straight conference championship.

Northern Colorado (3-8, 1-7) jumped out 7-0 with 13:39 to play in the second quarter on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Waggener to Alex Thompson.

But the Grizzlies tied the game on Reynolds' 1-yard scoring run and took the lead on a 19-yard pass from Justin Roper to Tyler Palmer with 28 seconds left in the first half.

Reynolds put the game out of reach early in the third quarter with touchdown runs of 54 and 37 yards.

Marc Mariani's 32-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Selle ended the scoring.
