PLAYER OF THE GAME
Hurricane linebacker recorded 8 tackles, 2.5 for loss, recovered one fumble and had two pass breakups.
PLAY OF THE GAME
With Hurricane leading 21-12 and Park City on the move at Hurricane's 12 yard line, the Tigers' defense stuffed Dylan Chynoweth on a fourth and five to maintain the two-possession lead. In hindsight Park City would've probably been better suited to kick the field goal.
A BIT OF HISTORY
Hurricane advances to its second straight state championship game by knocking off Park City. It's the second time in school history the Tigers have done so. Back in 1983 and 1984, Hurricane advanced to back-to-back state championship games but it lost both times.
QUOTEABLE
"I wouldn't say didn't panic, but there's good panic and bad panic. Good panic is when you go like you don't want to lose." - Chris Homer, Hurricane coach
