Christian founders

It's amazing how those who don't believe in religion fight "tooth and toenail" to convince others of their view — even saying that George Washington didn't believe in God. Washington was a devout Christian. Through his brilliant leadership, always accompanied by prayer, he led us to victory over the imperialists of Great Britain to a new nation.

James H. Hutson, in "The Founders on Religion," stated: "Whatever the situation in the society at large, the founders were demonstrably regular churchgoers who knew their Bibles and incorporated their texts into working vocabularies."
