Science prostituted

One of several cultural shocks I received on returning in 1974 to the white man's world (after 22 years among the Apaches and Utes of New Mexico and Colorado) is the extent to which "science" has been prostituted by a political movement known as the "New Left." This movement began growing in the 1950s and reached full flower in the late 1960s.

Nicolo Machiavelli held that "any means however unscrupulous can justifiably be used in achieving political power."

Today the jobs of thousands of "environmentalists" are dependent on keeping the public in a constant state of fear that the end is near.

Instead of science, modern environmentalism has become a religion and a political tool.
