The fifth annual Friends of the Crèche National Convention has been meeting in Salt Lake City since Thursday and will conclude its conference Sunday, Nov. 15.

This is the first time this convention has been held in the Mountain West.

Friends of the Crèche is a nonsectarian, nonpolitical, nonprofit organization for those who collect, exhibit, study, create, or simply treasure Christmas Nativity scenes.

This year's conference theme is "Follow his star."
