College GameDay (8 a.m., ESPN); Live from Fort Worth, the site of this afternoon's Utah-TCU game (which is on CBS C).

College football: BYU at New Mexico (noon, The mtn.); San Jose State at Utah State (1 p.m., Ch. 30); Utah at TCU (5:30 p.m., CBS C). And, speaking of CBS C, the cable network will have live editions of Inside College Football before (5 p.m.) and after the Utes and Frogs face off.

NBA (5:30 p.m., FSN): Jazz at Cavaliers.

MLS playoff (6 p.m., FSC): Real Salt Lake — which has already surprised everyone by beating the Columbus Crew in the first round of the playoffs — travels to Chicago to take on the Fire in the Eastern Conference Championship. A win would send RSL to the MLS Cup next week.

Saturday Night Live (10:30 p.m., Ch. 30): January Jones ("Mad Men") hosts; the Black Eyed Peas perform.

NFL: Broncos at Redskins (11 a.m., Ch. 2): Lions at Vikings (11 a.m., Ch. 13); Cowboys at Packers (2:15 p.m., Ch. 13); Patriots at Colts (6:15 p.m., Ch. 5).

Amazing Race (7 p.m., Ch. 2): The brothers and the Globe Trotters collide — literally — while racing to the finish.

Nature (7 p.m., Ch. 7): A look at a family of humpback whales.

The Simpsons (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Marge poses for a pin-up calendar. For charity, of course. And sort of accidentally.

Three Rivers (8 p.m., Ch. 2): Mandy Patinkin guest stars as a Lou Gehrig's disease patient who wants to die so he can donate his organs.

Desperate Housewives (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Lynette can't hide her pregnancy any more.

Masterpiece Contemporary (8 p.m., Ch. 7): In "Collision," 10 people are involved in a major road accident.

Cold Case (9 p.m., Ch. 2): The team investigates the 1991 murder of a teen rapper.

Brothers & Sisters (9:01 p.m., Ch. 4): Justin and Rebecca hide big secrets from each other.

Jack the Ripper in America (10 p.m., Discovery): So, there's a theory that London's Jack the Ripper may have come to America and killed bunch of people here, too. And Discovery is airing a documentary about this theory. Haven't seen it, so you're on your own here.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10 and 11 p.m., HBO): A kid is annoying Larry with text messages.

Dexter (10 p.m., Showtime): Dexter's preoccupation with Trinity causes him to break Harry's sacred code.

WWII in HD (10 and 11 p.m., History): Debut of this five-night, 10-hour event, which continues through Thursday. It follows a dozen Americans through the war, revealing new and restored footage in both black-and-white and color.
