After reading Missie Harward's rebuttal concerning my stand on sex education (Readers' Forum, Nov. 10), I feel clarification is needed. We now have monogynous husband-wife sex relationships, same-sex relationships, bisexual relationships, one-night stands and multiple-partner relationships. Each of these relationships requires very different sex education. Understanding our new world should create great caution in teaching any sex education in our schools. This is becoming a Pandora's box we should not want to open. Leave this for nongovernment-funded enties. Leave our precious educational funding to teach basics in the schools.
