Your Nov. 6 review of the new animated film "Christmas Carol" staring Jim Carrey really missed the mark. We saw the film opening day in 3-D. We were captivated from the beginning with the marvelous computer-generated characters and the great talent of Jim Carrey in pulling off so many of the character voices. Contrary to critic Jeff Vice, we felt the film was true to the Dickens story and tugged at our heartstrings with great emotion. Robert Zemeckis, the screenwriter and director, did a magnificent job developing the story line and staying true to Dickens. The closing song by Andrea Bocelli, "God Bless Us Everyone," while the credits were rolling brought us to tears. It will brighten your holidays.
