Some are worth big pay

Steve Barnes claims he "never met anyone who is worth $300,000 a year." (Readers' Forum, Nov. 8) Obviously he has never met Jon M. Huntsman and never met Larry H. Miller before he passed away. Both of these men and many others have contributed so much to our community and are worth well over $300,000 a year. If not for Huntsman, we would not have the Huntsman Cancer Institute and thousands of people across the globe would be without jobs. Without Larry H. Miller, we would not have the Utah Jazz and EnergySolutions Arena.

If you take away the incentive to achieve and demonize success, the United States of America will cease to be the great nation that it is.
