OREM — After 37 years inside the University Mall, Deseret Book is moving to a 9,500-square-foot space in the new Villages at University Mall, just east of the main mall.

The new store has an art gallery, a media area with a 140-inch high-definition movie projection screen, Mormon Handicraft and the Lion House Pantry.

One lucky customer will get a 60-second shopping spree after a drawing at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.

The store will host several author signings on Friday and Saturday, including Amanda Dickson, Jason Wright, Chris Stewart and Brad Wilcox.

Deseret Book Co. publishes and retails religious books, music and other merchandise. It is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
