I was stunned when I read that Michael Cragun was appointed to the state Tax Commission. He is the former Davis County commissioner who wanted to raise property taxes in Davis County 125 percent. Needless to say, he didn't get re-elected.

How does this happen?

We need to watch his behavior closely.
