EDINBURG, Texas — Utah Valley University outside hitter Kayli Broadbent notched her sixth double-double of the year with 16 kills and 12 digs and Chelsea Fa'alogo also added a double-double with 33 assists and 13 digs in leading the Wolverines to a 25-12, 26-24, 25-20 Great West Conference victory over Texas-Pan American on Friday night.

The Wolverines are now 14-1 in the all-time series with the Lady Broncs and have won the last 10 matches in the series. Also, UVU remains in second place in league play at 9-2.

The Wolverines erased a 4-1 deficit in the first set and led by as many as 12 in the set. Broadbent had five kills in the set and a service ace. At one point in the set, Kathleen Stevens served eight straight points. In that run, Broadbent had three kills and the Wolverines led 24-12. Broadbent concluded the set with a kill.

"I thought we did very well defensively in the first set," UVU volleyball coach Sam Atoa said. "We showed a lot of guts and heart (in the second set)."

The third and final set was tied at 8-8 before UVU broke away and built a 14-10 lead on three kills by Manwill, a kill by Broadbent and two errors by UTPA (7-16, 4-7).
