Steve Griffith has been named district manager at Professional Service Industries Inc., overseeing PSI's Salt Lake City operations. He previously was with the company's Las Vegas operations office. Griffith has more than 16 years of experience.
Thomas R. Taylor, a partner with Holme Roberts & Owen LLP, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Hale Centre Theatre. Taylor practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and venture capital and private equity financings.
Taylor Dabo has been promoted by Utah Business Publishers LLC to publisher of Utah Business magazine, and David Kennard has joined the company as the executive editor of the magazine. Dabo previously worked as advertising director at the magazine. Martin Lewis, former publisher and editor-in-chief, has left the company to pursue other business ventures.
Matt Mitchell has joined iBahn as vice president of global accounts. Based in Hong Kong, Mitchell has more than 25 years of experience in the technology and hospitality industries. Before joining iBahn, Mitchell was executive vice president of sales, chief operating officer and vice president of global sales at another company.
Rex Falkenrath has joined the Westminster College Advisory Board. Falkenrath is senior consultant at the Salt Lake Regional Small Business Development Center.
Temma Martin has been appointed public relations specialist at Best Friends Animal Society. She will be based in Salt Lake City. Martin has 16 years of experience in animal welfare, with 12 of those years spent full time in public relations.
Paul Gaffney has been named executive vice president of operations for AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah. Gaffney joins AAA NCNU from Massachusetts, where he was most recently the chief operations officer at a venture-financed infrastructure software company. Gaffney was executive vice president of supply chain and chief information officer at another company and has held executive positions at a pair of others. He also started up and built Website Pros Inc.
Pam Gold has been promoted to vice president of sales and account management at UnitedHealthcare of Utah. She will be responsible for new sales and retention of businesses and service for all lines of business. Gold previously was director of account management for key accounts and small business. Replacing her in that role is Barbara Jessen, who recently joined the company after 13 years as a benefit consultant at another company's Salt Lake City office.
