MLS playoffs: Chicago at New England (6:30 p.m., FSC)

NBA (7 p.m., FSN): Kings at Jazz

Wanda Sykes Show (10:30 p.m., Ch. 13): Debut of this weekly talk show.

Saturday Night Live (11:30 p.m., Ch. 30): Taylor Swift both hosts and performs. (Time approximate after football)

Sunday on TV

NFL: Texans at Colts (11 a.m., Ch. 2): Cardinals at Bears (11 a.m., Ch. 13); Chargers at Giants (2:15 p.m., Ch. 2); Cowboys at Eagles (6:15 p.m., Ch. 5)

MLS playoffs (5:30 p.m., ESPN2): Chivas USA vs. L.A. Galaxy

60 Minutes (6 p.m., Ch. 2): Andre Agassi responds to critics of his drug use with a plea for compassion.

Story continues below

2012: Countdown to Armageddon (6 and 9 p.m., NGC): 2012: Startling New Secrets (7 and 9 p.m., Syfy); 2012 Apocalypse (10 p.m., Discovery): Three shows that look into the alleged ancient Mayan prophecy that supposedly predicts the end of the world. And, yes, the theatrical movie "2012" opens on Friday. What an amazing coincidence! Oh, and Entertainment Weekly is reporting that plans are already under way for a television series that would pick up where "2012" leaves off — with survivors trying to resettle the planet after a global disaster.

Amazing Race (7 p.m., Ch. 2): The teams have to search for a clue in a bale of hay. It's the same challenge that sank Utahns Lena and Kristy Jensen on the show five years ago. They never found the clue, and host Phil Keoghan came to tell them they were eliminated after all the other teams had already checked in at the pit stop.

Three Rivers (8 p.m., Ch. 2): Lisa witnesses a boy being crushed by a ride at the fair. This show has been pretty good, but the ratings have been pretty bad. Odds are it will be canceled before long.

Desperate Housewives (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Bree's secret is revealed, and so is Nick's.

Masterpiece Contemporary (8 p.m., Ch. 7): The conclusion of "Place of Execution."

Cold Case (9 p.m., Ch. 2): The team reopens the case of a murdered jockey.

Brothers & Sisters (9:01 p.m., Ch. 4): Kitty's cancer treatments cost her her hair.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10 and 11 p.m., HBO): Cheryl competes for a "Seinfeld" role.

Dexter (10 p.m., Showtime): Debra expresses interest in her father's past.

Kidnapped for 18 Years: The Jaycee Dugard Story (10 p.m., TLC): A quickie, ripped-from-the-headlines documentary about the woman recently rescued after being held captive for almost two decades.

Bored to Death (10:30 and 11:30 p.m., HBO): George, Jonathan and Ray prepare to get in the boxing ring with their rivals.
