Did I read the article ("No jail time in scheme," Nov. 5) correctly? Somebody steals more than $4 million, less than one fourth of this money was recovered, but no jail time. I don't suppose their two homes are worth more than $3 million.

I hope I am missing a lot of information on this case. That is certainly not equal justice under the law. Then the guy has the gall to criticize the school district for poor record keeping, which is probably true, and then goes on to praise his service to the kids of the school district by acquiring federal funds. He also slams the newspapers for the "trash" that they printed. I guess the next thing he will do is write a book on how to steal millions of dollars and without doing any jail time.
