'Up' among DVD releases

The following DVDs will be released Tuesday, unless otherwise specified:

"The Accidental Husband" (Sony, $24.96) — Direct-to-DVD romantic comedy, starring Uma Thurman and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

PG-13 (sex, profanity)

"Christmas Angel" (SunWorld Pictures, $24.99) — Yule-themed romantic comedy starring local actors K.C. Clyde and Kari Hawker.

PG (adult themes)

"The Line" (Maya, $24.98) — Direct-to-DVD thriller starring Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta.

R (violence, sex, profanity, drugs)

"Love Finds a Home" (Fox, $22.98) — Made-for-television Western starring Haylie Duff and Patty Duke.

Not rated, probable PG (violence)

"The Merry Gentleman" (Genius, $19.95) — ★★ — A confused thriller featuring a talented cast. Michael Keaton stars.

R (profanity, violence, brief drugs, slurs, brief gore, brief sex)

"SpongeBob SquarePants: Truth or Square" (Nickelodeon, $16.99) — Animated feature starring the popular cartoon series character.

Not rated, probable PG (slapstick violence, vulgarity)

"Spread" (Anchor Bay, $29.98) — Comedy-drama starring Ashton Kutcher as a heartless male hustler.

R (sex, nudity, profanity)

"The Ugly Truth" (Sony, $28.96) — ★★ — A crude comedy so predictable you could set your clock to its story "beats." Katherine Heigl stars.

R (vulgarity, profanity, sex, slurs, violence, brief partial nudity)

"Up" (Disney/Pixar, $29.99) — ★★★★ — Disney-Pixar's latest cartoon feature strikes a good balance between humor and necessary character drama.

Special features: Two-disc deluxe edition ($39.99) includes extra disc with bonus features and new animated short, digital copy of the film; Four-disc, blu-ray combo pack ($45.99) includes Blu-ray and standard DVD versions of the film, digital copy for home-electronics devices, extras disc.

PG (violence, mild vulgarity, slurs)

"Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut" (Warner, $43.98) — Expanded director's cut of the 2009 action-thriller, based on the acclaimed comics mini-series.
