The Salt Lake County Utah State University Extension will hold a public holiday fair at the Salt Lake County Government Center on Dec. 2.

The event, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., will feature demonstrations and make-and-take workshops including gardening, healthy holiday eating, quick holiday crafts, holiday food safety, holiday budgeting and 4-H youth programs presented by USU Extension agents.

The fair is designed to promote health and wellness and raise awareness of the programs and services USU Extension Salt Lake County offers throughout the year. Refreshments will be served, and participants will receive 15 percent off all USU publications and the opportunity to enter a prize giveaway.
