Beck uncovers truth

Breck England (Readers' Forum, Nov. 2) is puzzled that Glenn Beck exposed the corruption in the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now while completely ignoring an Iraq-Halliburton scandal. Listening to Beck, I have learned he uncovers the corruption and reports the stories the liberal news organizations don't want us to know about. You'd think with Dick Cheney being one of the media's favorite whipping boys, they'd jump all over that Halliburton story.

Just because I fight for a cause doesn't mean I can fight for every cause. I try to promote the arts in my local schools. That doesn't mean I am against the teaching of mathematics.

We all have to pick our battles, and Beck does so brilliantly.
