El Pollo Loco is offering a free 16-ounce bundt cake with every purchase of its Flame-Grilled Feast. The feast features either nine or 14 pieces of chicken, choice of two or three sides, tortillas and salsa. The 400-outlet chain has Utah locations in Lehi and Washington (www.elpolloloco.com).

Susan Shrum, operating partner of Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, recently helped serve meals to 37,000 U.S. and coalition soldiers in the Middle East. Shrum was part of Operation Feeding Freedom VII, an annual mission sponsored by OSI Restaurant Partners LLC. The group offers a taste of home from the company's participating restaurants — Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and Roy's.

Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill offered lobster tacos last week to families in need as well as the staffs of Ogden's Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank and Salt Lake City's Crossroads Urban Center. The event was part trick-or-treat and part promotion for the return of Langostino Lobster to the restaurant's menu for a limited time.

The Transformation Studio at the Olympus Hills Shopping Center is offering fresh, organic, nutritionally balanced meals with delivery service. The meals can be customized to individual preferences. A full week is $219, which includes lunch, dinner and two snacks per day. Rates are available for couples, families, dinner-only or lunch-only programs.
