NEW YORK — The World Series has helped the Fox network score a ratings home run.

Nielsen Co. says Game 4 of the New York Yankees-Philadelphia Phillies faceoff was the week's most-watched program, followed by Game 1, Game 2 and Fox's pre-game show for Game 4. Fox's broadcast of Game 3 ranked ninth for the week.

ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" and CBS' scripted dramas "NCIS," "The Mentalist" and "CSI" helped round out the Top 10.

Fox averaged nearly 15 million viewers overall for the week of Oct. 26. Runner-up CBS averaged 9.84 million, with ABC close behind with 9.45 million.

Nielsen says NBC's "Nightly News" topped the evening newscasts.
