The Utah Flash will host their annual NBA Development League Draft party at the Pinnacle Gym (1290 S. Sandhill Road in Orem) on Thursday, starting at 5 p.m.
The draft is eight rounds and will be conducted via conference call from NBA D-League draft headquarters at the NBA TV studios in Atlanta and at locations in each of the 16 league cities. The ninth-annual event will be telecast on NBA TV and streamed on-line (www.nba.com/dleague).
The Flash have the fifth selection in the first round and the twelfth pick in the second round of the serpentine draft. The draft format allows a team who has the last pick in the first round to have the first pick in the following round. The Tulsa 66ers have the first overall selection.
