West Jordan City Council candidate Karen Shaeffer would like local businesses to help attract customers to the city by providing free extras like desserts. Mayoral Candidate Irene T. Casper, while a supporter of local businesses, has not advocated that position. The Deseret News mistakenly attributed the statement to the wrong candidate in a Saturday story on Tuesday's municipal elections.
