Double-dipping wrong
It was reported on KSL news that "double-dipping" goes on among some of Utah's police chiefs and sheriffs. While Utah has policies that make this possible, and therefore perfectly legal, it is still wrong.
Our local police chief, whose picture was shown on the television screen during the news report, is someone I have known for years and have admired for his abilities outside his profession. However, if it is true that he is taking advantage of this policy, he has lost some of my respect.
