COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Utah running back Eddie Wide and defensive end Koa Misi have been named Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for their performances in Saturday's 22-10 win over Wyoming.

Wide earned offensive honors after rushing for a career-high 135 yards and a touchdown. The junior equaled a school record with his fifth consecutive 100-yard game. Misi netted defensive accolades by leading the Utes with eight tackles (seven solo) and two sacks. The senior did most of his damage in the second half when Wyoming was held to just 74 yards and no points.

San Diego State punter Brian Stahovich is the MWC's Special Teams Player of the Week. He averaged 42.9 yards on seven punts in a 23-20 win over New Mexico.
