Nicholas U. Frandsen and Sanna-Rae Taylor have joined the Salt Lake City office of Parsons Behle & Latimer. Frandsen is a member of the litigation department and concentrates his practice on general commercial litigation. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University. Taylor also is a member of the litigation department and concentrates her practice on general commercial litigation. Her education includes degrees from the University of Utah and Utah State University.

Tyler Ploeger, Autumn Christensen and Caleb Miller have been promoted at Tanner LC. Ploeger and Christensen are audit and business advisory services managers. Ploeger has been with Tanner for four years and has experience in the banking, manufacturing, software, biotechnology and advertising industries and with employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations and SEC reporting companies. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah. Christensen has practiced at Tanner for two years and previously worked with the Las Vegas office of an international accounting firm for two years. She has experience in the manufacturing, construction and technology industries and with not-for-profit organizations and SEC reporting companies. Her education includes a degree from Southern Utah University. Miller is audit and business advisory services senior. He has practiced at Tanner for two years and is experienced in the manufacturing, service and technology industries and with employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations and SEC reporting companies. His education includes a degree from Southern Utah University.

Doug Thimm and Peter Moyes have joined Architectural Nexus as principals. Thimm's experience encompasses the master planning, design and development of urban and resort area mixed-use commercial retail, office, residential, entertainment and other interrelated facilities. He has more than 30 years of architectural experience. Moyes has more than 28 years of architecture experience, with design expertise in civic, justice and convention center architecture as well as urban commercial office architecture. Moyes' education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Matthew E. Jensen will become a partner in the law firm Smith Hartvigsen PLLC on Jan. 1. Jensen focuses his practice on natural resources and energy law, with an emphasis in water rights, geothermal energy and mining. Jensen's education includes degrees from the University of Utah.
