Jazz starting center Mehmet Okur won't play in tonight's NBA home season-opener against the Los Angeles Clippers, and backup Kyrylo Fesenko will open in his place.

"Still sore a little bit," Okur, who mildly sprained both his left ankle and left knee in the first minute of Wednesday night's season-opening loss at Denver, said after today's morning shootaround.

The one-time NBA All-Star from Turkey had limited participation in the shootaround.

"I was able to shoot a little bit, without too much movement, you know?" he said. "Just spot-up shooting."

Okur originally said his ankle hurt more than his knee, but on Friday he said the knee was more sore than the ankle.
