Here's what the Laramie Boomerang is reporting in advance of the Cowboys' visit to Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday to take on the University of Utah:

In terms of forcing fumbles, the University of Wyomings defense has been good. The Cowboys (4-3 overall, 2-1 Mountain West Conference) have forced 14 through seven games and are on pace to force the most fumbles since 2005. The problem is recovering those fumbles. UW has recovered just four this season. I dont know, for some reason we cant seem to get them, senior defensive tackle John Fletcher said of why the Cowboys arent recovering more fumbles....UW plays at No. 19 Utah (6-1, 3-0) Saturday, and the Utes fumbled six times in their 23-16 overtime victory over Air Force last Saturday. However, Utah lost only two of those fumbles. For the full story click here.
