The north entrance to Wahweap in Glen Canyon is now closed for the winter season and to reduce the risk of zebra-mussel infestation.

Visitors will be able to enter the Wahweap Marina area on Lake Powell through the south entrance and still may exit through the north entrance.

Dangling Rope Marina on Lake Powell will close Nov. 30 and reopen March 1, 2010. Fuel will not be available at Dangling Rope during that period.

The Bullfrog Visitors Center will close for the winter on Nov. 7, and the Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center closes Oct. 31.

Most campgrounds in the area will remain open in the winter.
