Second shooting probed at Ogden home
OGDEN — Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday at a home where a man and his three children were fired upon Monday.
Detectives are interviewing individuals who were at a home in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue when someone pulled up Tuesday and fired as many as six shots, said Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley.
No one was injured in the second shooting, which took place around noon.
Police arrested two men Monday night after they allegedly shot at rival gang members outside the same home.
The drive-by shooting started when family members, who happened to be rival gang members, started fighting at a Chevron gas station at 21st Street and Harrison Boulevard about 6:30 p.m., said Ogden Police Lt. Dave Tarran. One family member decided to leave and drove to the Jackson Avenue home. He was followed by a vehicle with three men, one of whom was involved in the initial fight, Tarran said.
The vehicle pulled up and two men in the front and rear passenger seats began shooting in the direction of the driveway. Only one round hit the car, which was occupied by the driver and his three children, police said.
No one was injured.
A nearby officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of the alleged shooters' vehicle, which later led to the arrests of Richard Tehero Jr. and Marquis Pablo Lucero. Tehero, 29, and Lucero, 19, were booked into Weber County Jail for investigation of attempted aggravated murder.
