OGDEN — Two men were arrested after shooting at rival gang members outside a residence Monday night, police said.

The drive-by shooting started when family members who happened to be rival gang members started fighting at a Chevron gas station at 21st Street and Harrison Blvd. about 6:30 p.m., said Ogden Police Lt. Dave Tarran. One family member decided to leave, and drove home to the 2200 block of Jackson Ave. where he was followed by a vehicle with three men, one of whom was part of the initial fight, Tarran said.

The suspect vehicle pulled up and two men in the front and rear passenger seats began shooting in the direction of the driveway. Only one round hit the car, no one was injured, Tarran said.

A nearby officer drove onto a street about seven blocks away and spotted a vehicle matching the description, which later led to the two arrests, police said.

Richard Tehero Jr., 29, and Marquis Pablo Lucero, 19, were booked into Weber County Jail for investigation of attempted homicide.
