MEN'S TENNIS: Utah State's men's tennis team completed competition in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Championships on Saturday at the Darling Tennis Center at Las Vegas.

The Aggies advanced to the final day of play in the doubles consolation rounds as juniors Jakob Asplund and Bryan Marchant fell to BYU's ninth-seeded George Batrakov and Daniel Hwang, 8-4. Sophomore Nate Ballam and junior Alex Thatcher completed action with wins by default in both the fourth and fifth rounds.

"It was a good opportunity to see many of the teams we will play in conference, in state and Big Sky opponents," USU head coach Christian Wright said. "I feel confident that we will be ready to go in January and it should be a good season."

Saturday marked the final day of fall action for the Aggies.
